Reverse Osmosis in Phoenix, Priced Line by Line
We put an under-sink reverse osmosis system at your kitchen sink, so you get clean-tasting water for drinking and cooking. Before any work starts, you get a written quote that lists the unit, the faucet, the parts and the labor. Nothing gets added on the day.
What Reverse Osmosis Does and When It Makes Sense
An RO system forces your tap water across a tight membrane with openings far smaller than any pitcher filter. Water gets through. Most dissolved salts, hardness minerals and a long list of trace metals don't, and they get flushed to the drain. A carbon stage up front pulls out chlorine to protect the membrane, and a second carbon filter at the end polishes the taste. Clean water sits in a small tank under the sink and comes out of its own faucet.
It is a drinking and cooking system, not a whole-house one. If you want better water at every tap, look at whole-home filtration. If scale on fixtures is the main complaint, a water softener may be the better first step. Plenty of Phoenix homes pair a softener for the house with an RO unit at the kitchen sink, since our water tends to carry a lot of dissolved minerals.
Not sure which one you need? Start with a free water test. There is zero obligation, and it tells us what is in your water before we suggest anything.

What Comes With an RO Install
- 01
Multi-stage under-sink unit
Sediment and carbon prefilters, the RO membrane and a carbon polishing filter. We mount it to the cabinet wall so it stays up off the cabinet floor.
- 02
Storage tank and its own faucet
A pressurized tank holds filtered water ready to pour. The faucet goes in an open sink hole or a new hole in the countertop, and we tell you which before we start.
- 03
Cold line and drain hookup
We tie into the cold line under the sink with its own shutoff. The drain line gets an air gap or drain saddle so used water can't back up into the unit.
- 04
Optional line to the fridge
Want filtered ice and cold water from the refrigerator door? We run tubing from the RO unit over to the fridge. It's priced as its own line item, so you can say yes or no.
- 05
Labor included
Install is included with water treatment systems. Labor doesn't show up later as a separate bill.
- 06
Valve warranty and startup check
The system comes with a 5-year warranty on equipment valves. Before we leave, we flush it, check every fitting for drips and show you how the filters come out.
Questions about Reverse Osmosis?
Call(480) 470-7783Signs an RO System Is Worth a Look
Bottled water is a weekly errand
If you haul cases or refill jugs every week, an RO faucet gives you the same kind of water from your own sink.
Coffee and ice taste off
Chlorine and heavy minerals both change how water tastes. Cloudy ice and flat or bitter coffee are the complaints we hear most.
White crust in the kettle
Mineral buildup inside kettles and coffee makers means a lot of dissolved solids. RO water leaves far less behind.
Older pipes in your home
Some older homes still have aging pipes or solder joints. RO cuts lead and other metals at the tap you drink from. A water test shows whether it's a real concern for you.
The pitcher filter can't keep up
Pitchers are slow and do little for dissolved minerals. An under-sink unit makes more water and takes out much more.
How Your RO Install Goes
- 1
Free water test
We test your water at no cost. It shows hardness, dissolved solids and chlorine, so the system fits what actually comes out of your tap.
- 2
Price by phone, then in writing
We go over pricing on the phone, then you get the same numbers in writing: the unit, the faucet, any fridge line and the labor. If something under your sink changes the plan, we tell you before we touch it. You decide before any work starts.
- 3
Install day
Installs are done by licensed and insured partner plumbers, and an under-sink job usually fits in one visit. We clear the cabinet, lay down a drop cloth, mount the unit, drill for the faucet if needed and connect the lines. Your water is only off for a short stretch.
- 4
Flush, check and walk-through
We flush the first tank, look over every fitting for leaks and taste-test the water with you. Then we show you the shutoff and which filters get changed when. Cardboard and scraps leave with us.
What Sets the Price of an RO System
Every RO quote we write lists each part and the labor on its own line. A few things move the price, and we go through each one with you on the phone. We don't add items on install day without asking you first.
- Number of stages
- A standard four or five stage setup is the starting point. Adding a stage that puts some minerals back, or a UV lamp for extra disinfection, raises the parts cost.
- Faucet and countertop
- Using an open sink hole is simple. Drilling through quartz or granite takes more time and the right bit.
- Fridge or ice maker line
- Running tubing to the refrigerator adds parts and labor, and more of both if the fridge sits across the kitchen.
- Space under the sink
- A crowded cabinet, a garbage disposal in the way or worn shutoff valves that need replacing all change the work. We write these down before we start.
- Your water
- Very high dissolved solids wear a membrane faster. Your test result helps us pick prefilters so you aren't swapping cartridges too often.
Reverse Osmosis Questions We Get
Does reverse osmosis waste water?
Yes, some. An RO unit sends part of the water to the drain to rinse the membrane clean. Newer units send less than older ones did. We'll tell you the ratio for the unit we price so you know what to expect.
Will RO take the minerals out of my drinking water?
It removes most dissolved minerals, which is why the water tastes so clean. Most people get their minerals from food, not water. If you like a little mineral taste, we can add a remineralization stage and list it on your quote.
When do RO filters and the membrane get replaced?
Plan on fresh sediment and carbon cartridges about once a year. The membrane goes longer, often a few years, depending on how much is dissolved in your water. Your test result helps us set a realistic schedule, and we show you how to swap them yourself.
Is the install included in the price?
Install is included with water treatment systems. Your written quote shows the unit, the faucet and any extras like a fridge line, so you can see exactly what you're paying for.
Do I need a water softener too?
Not always. RO only treats drinking water at one sink. If hard water is leaving scale on fixtures and in your water heater, a water softener protects the rest of the house and helps the RO membrane last longer. The free water test tells us whether it's worth adding.
