How a Job Runs

Here's what happens from your first call to the day water runs through the new system.

  1. 1

    You call us

Tell us what's bugging you, like spots on glasses, crusty faucets or an odd taste. We'll talk through options and give you a sense of installed pricing.

  2. 2

    Free water test

We test your water at your home and show you the numbers. There's no obligation to buy anything.

  3. 3

    Written quote

You get the system, parts, location and price on paper. Take your time with it. Ask us anything you want.

  4. 4

    Install day

Our partner plumbers put the system in, set the controls and check each connection for leaks. Your water is usually off for only part of the visit.

  5. 5

    Walkthrough

We point out the bypass handle, show you how to refill salt or swap cartridges, and tell you which signs mean something needs a look. Then we clean up and head out.

What We Install in Your Home

Our work comes down to four things: water testing, water softeners, whole-home filtration and reverse osmosis at the kitchen sink. The setup behind it is simple, with installs done by licensed and insured partner plumbers and a 5-year warranty on equipment valves. Putting the system in is part of the system price, so you won't see a separate labor bill.

  • Technician fitting a tall black filter tank beside two clear filter housings and PVC bypass valves on a plywood backer board on a garage wall

    Whole-Home Filtration

A carbon-based system on your main line that cuts chlorine taste and smell at every faucet and shower, with scope and price in writing first.

  • Technician adjusts the control head on a blue water softener tank beside an open black brine tank of salt pellets in a garage next to the water heater

    Water Softeners

We test your hardness, size a softener to your home and put the installed price in writing before any work starts.

  • Technician in a gray shirt connecting tubing on a multi-stage reverse osmosis filter unit with a small storage tank in the cabinet under a kitchen sink

    Reverse Osmosis

An under-sink RO system for drinking and cooking water, with every part and the labor written down before we start.

  • Over-the-shoulder view of hands filling a sample vial at an outdoor hose bib on a stucco wall while another person reads test strips beside a color chart

    Water Testing

A free, no-obligation test at your tap that reads hardness, chlorine and dissolved solids, explained to you before anyone talks about equipment.

About Us

We're a small Phoenix company that does one kind of work: getting cleaner, softer water into homes. We'd rather you know the full price before we start than explain a bigger bill after.

So we keep it simple. We test first, we write down the job and the price, and we stick to it. If your water doesn't need a softener, we'll say so and save you the money.

Why Neighbors Hire Us

Most people have sat through a sales pitch about water. We'd rather show you a test result and a written quote, then let you decide.

  1. 01

The paperwork says what we'll do

Before any work, you get the scope in writing. It names the system, the parts, where it goes and what the install covers. If it isn't written down, we don't add it later.

  2. 02

Partner plumbers do the hands-on work

We stick to installs done by licensed and insured partner plumbers. They tie in the bypass, hook up the drain line and run water through every fitting to check for drips before they pack up.

  3. 03

    Valve coverage explained up front

The control valve is the part that works hardest on a softener or filter. Equipment valves carry a 5-year warranty, and we go over what that covers before you agree to anything.

  4. 04

    We test before we sell

The water test is free with zero obligation. Sometimes the answer is a softener, sometimes a drinking water system, sometimes neither. You hear it straight.

  5. 05

    We leave your home clean

We set down drop cloths, haul off the boxes and any old equipment we pull out, and wipe up after. You see the finished install before we go.

Questions We Hear a Lot

Something not covered here? (480) 470-7783

Do I really need a water softener?

Not always. A lot of homes around Phoenix have hard water, and you'll see it as white crust on faucets and spots on dishes. But the level varies, so we test first. If a softener won't help much, we'll tell you.

Do I have to buy something after the test?

No. The test costs nothing and carries no obligation. We go over the numbers with you and explain what they mean. What you do next is your call.

What's on the written estimate?

The system and its size, the parts, where it goes, any pipe or drain work, removal of old equipment if needed, and the total price. Install is included with our water treatment systems. If it isn't listed, we don't bill for it later.

Who does the installation?

Our partner plumbers do the hands-on work. They handle the bypass, drain line and connections, then run water and check everything for drips before leaving.

What warranty comes with the system?

Equipment valves have their own warranty, covered in the section above. System tanks carry a lifetime warranty on qualifying systems. Your paperwork will show which coverage applies to the system you pick.

How is a softener different from a filter?

Softeners pull out calcium and magnesium, the minerals behind scale buildup and spotty dishes. A whole-home carbon filter goes after taste and odor, such as chlorine. Reverse osmosis sits under the kitchen sink and treats the water you drink and cook with. Plenty of homes pair a softener with reverse osmosis.

Will the install make a mess?

We cover the work area and clean up when we're done. We haul away packaging and any old unit we remove. Your water is off for part of the visit, and we'll tell you about how long ahead of time.

What Changes the Price

No two homes end up with the exact same price. It depends on what's in your water, how much you use and where the system has to go. We walk you through each of these on the phone and again on paper, so nothing catches you off guard on install day.

We'll go over installed system pricing for your home by phone. After the free water test, you get the full scope and price on paper before any work starts.

How hard your water is
Hard water is common around Phoenix, but the level varies from home to home. Harder water needs more softening capacity, which can mean a bigger resin tank.
How your household uses water
A family of five runs a lot more water than a couple does. We match the tank and valve to how your home actually uses water, not the biggest unit we can find.
Which system you choose
A whole-home carbon filter, a softener and an under-sink reverse osmosis unit each need their own parts and setup. Pairing two, like a softener with reverse osmosis at the sink, adds time on install day and shows up as its own line on the quote.
Where it goes and what's already there
If your home already has a softener loop, the install is simpler. If not, we may need to run new pipe, find a drain and add an outlet nearby. All of that is listed on the quote.
Removing old equipment
Taking out a worn-out softener or filter adds some labor and a trip to dispose of it. We tell you up front if that's part of the job.
